Artist's legend:

"I recently met an old woman who told me about the young white man who spoke and danced like the Zulus and that she had met him. She referred to the well-known Jonathan Clegg whose group is called "Juluka" and whose records were reaching the charts. The sculpture represents this old woman demonstrating how Clegg dances, like one of the dancers from the Shembe people".
